Dartford Sharks I win over Guru

Fresh off our overtime victory against Wizards the Sharks were feeling confident heading to Gravesend to play Guru and were confident of getting the win. Dartford started off playing well and building a cushioned lead by the end of the 1st quarter. The second quarter Dartford simply lost its way and was making mistake after mistake. The decision making was poor and costly as this allowed Guru to rally back into the match. Heading into half time Guru had the momentum and Dartford looked vulnerable. The second half started and Dartford came out strong and made a clear statement that this was our game to win. Guru never recovered and Dartford won comfortably. It was not pretty but Dartford got the job done.

On a side note the fans in attendance were clearly worried at the psychological state of Andy as he took himself out of the game and was clearly frustrated and began to verbally abuse himself on the bench.

Fans can rest easy as Andy was seen by our team psychologist and has been deemed fit to play in our upcoming match against Bromley next week however has strongly advised that Andy not play agaisnt Guru until further testing can be performed to ensure a fully fit psychological state
